Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of SCALELEAD, operated by COMPANY_NAME_PLACEHOLDER (company number COMPANY_NUMBER_PLACEHOLDER, registered office ADDRESS_PLACEHOLDER). By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
SCALELEAD is a software platform that helps you find local business prospects, generate demonstration websites using AI, publish shareable demo links, audit existing websites (on qualifying plans) and export generated code (on qualifying plans). It is a set of tools: we do not sell websites on your behalf, act as your agent, or promise any commercial outcome.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity on your account. You must tell us promptly at SUPPORT_EMAIL_PLACEHOLDER if you believe your account has been compromised.
Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
- Plans are billed monthly in advance, in GBP, through our payment provider. Current prices and limits are shown on the pricing page.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues to the end of the paid period and no further payments are taken. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
- Each plan includes monthly usage limits (searches, generations, edits, audits, exports). Limits reset at the start of each calendar month and unused allowance does not roll over.
- If a payment fails we may retry it and give you a short grace period before features are suspended.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.
Generated content and ownership
- On every paid plan, we grant you commercial rights to the generated website output — you may transfer a site to a client and charge for it. On Starter and Growth the sites are hosted by us; source-code download and self-hosting are added on Pro Agency.
- The Pro Agency plan additionally grants full white-label rights and complete source-code ownership — you may remove our branding, self-host anywhere, and present the platform and its output as your own.
- Third-party assets that may appear in generated output (for example fonts or stock media) remain subject to their own licences; you are responsible for complying with them.
- You are responsible for verifying all content before delivering a website to a client — including business details, claims, pricing and imagery. You must not publish or deliver fabricated reviews, invented accreditations or misleading claims, whether AI-generated or not.
- AI-generated output can contain errors. It is provided as a starting point and you accept responsibility for reviewing it before commercial use.
Acceptable use
Your use of the platform is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach it.
Demo hosting
Published demo links are provided while your subscription is active and within your plan’s published-demo limit. When your subscription ends, published demos are taken offline. Exports you have already downloaded are unaffected.
Our intellectual property
The platform itself — software, design, branding and documentation — belongs to COMPANY_NAME_PLACEHOLDER or its licensors. These terms do not transfer any rights in the platform to you beyond the right to use it while subscribed.
No guarantee of results
We make no promise that you will win clients, make sales or earn any income. All economic figures on our site are illustrative examples only. Your results depend on your own effort, pricing and market.
Availability and liability
- The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and accurate but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and third-party providers (hosting, payments, AI models) may occasionally affect the service.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
- Subject to that, our total liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect losses.
Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where required by law. On termination, published demos are taken offline and account data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will give you reasonable advance notice by email or in-app. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction (this does not affect any mandatory consumer rights).
