Acceptable Use Policy
This policy sets out what you may and may not do with SCALELEAD. It forms part of our Terms of Service. The short version: build honest websites for real businesses, contact people lawfully, and don't abuse the platform.
No unlawful or deceptive websites
- Do not generate, publish or deliver websites that are unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive — including fake reviews or testimonials, invented accreditations, certifications or awards, false claims about products or services, or impersonation of any person or organisation.
- Do not use the platform for phishing, scam pages, malware distribution, or content that infringes anyone’s rights or is hateful, exploitative or otherwise unlawful.
- Before delivering a website to a client, verify the business details and claims it contains are accurate and authorised by that business.
Lawful outreach — no spam
- When contacting prospects you find through the platform, you must comply with applicable marketing and data protection law (in the UK this includes UK GDPR and PECR).
- Do not use the platform to send bulk unsolicited messages, and honour opt-outs promptly. You are the controller for your own outreach.
No scraping or systematic extraction
- Do not scrape, harvest or systematically extract data from the platform, and do not use automated tools to circumvent search or usage limits.
- Do not resell, sublicense or share access to the platform or to prospect data as a dataset.
Respect intellectual property
- Do not upload or instruct the AI to reproduce content you have no right to use — including copyrighted text and images, trademarks, or a competitor’s branding.
- Third-party assets in generated output (fonts, stock media) remain under their own licences; comply with them when exporting or delivering sites.
Platform integrity
- Do not probe, disrupt or overload the service, attempt to access other accounts or data, or misuse demo hosting for anything other than showing generated demonstration sites to prospects and clients.
- Do not share one account across multiple businesses to evade plan limits.
Enforcement and reporting
We may unpublish content, suspend features or terminate accounts that breach this policy, acting proportionately to the severity of the breach. To report a website or account you believe breaches this policy, contact SUPPORT_EMAIL_PLACEHOLDER.
This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
